ARTIST AS CURATOR

Students can understand and evaluate how the arts convey meaning through the utilization of Visual Thinking Strategies and in-class, cross-disciplinary, and cross-cultural critiques. Using written, verbal, and visual responses, students can also enhance their skills as meaning-makers through curation.

Responding to other works of art visually and conceptually, students can curate a mock exhibition and provide a written response in the form of a directed curator’s statement.
