Students should relate artistic ideas and work with personal meaning and external context. Through extensive research, students can also connect their artistic work to multiple career prospects and establish themselves within artistic communities both in-person and online.
As students are curating a portfolio of work, they should synthesize their knowledge in an artist statement that is meaningful and connects the visual with the conceptual.
