Digital Illustration | Student Work
Illustration involves creating visual representations or interpretations of concepts, ideas, narratives, or information for various purposes. Illustrators use their artistic skills to convey messages, enhance storytelling, and communicate complex ideas through images. The field of illustration is diverse, and professionals may work in a variety of industries, including publishing, advertising, digital media, entertainment, and more. The student work seen here are exemplars of projects in my Digital Illustration class. Each project aligns with key aspects of illustration as a profession, including technical know-how, working in themes, visual exploration research, and user research.

Drawing the Everyday Every Day
Drawing The Everyday Every Day is a series of three sketchbooks created for my Illustration course. It encourages students to adopt a daily drawing practice and challenges them with prompts specific to each book’s theme. Book One is all about making marks. Book Two focuses on composition. Book Three is concerned with artistic voice.
